Hooker Twp,Ne | Over 40+years ago I mid 20s was sitting in local bar with two other older farmer and a mortician drinking several beers. One of the older farmers owned quite a bit of land for that time and I had just bought my first. We were B.S. ing and I being the tallest at 6’6 told the older farmer that someday when I die that I’d have more land under me then him. The mortician just like that spoke up and said: The heck you will-we cut your legs off by your knees and lay them beside you in the coffin. Well that brought laughter and bring us another round. | |
