So, we've begun placing hybrids based not just on soils, etc, but on the ability to aerial apply fungicides the most accurately. The small odd shaped stuff, 80 acres in 5 patches shaped like I don't know what, are going to get the more disease defensive hybrids, because aircraft simply don't get the corners and pockets. The nice square 80 of reasonably good dirt may get the one that we know will need to be fungicided. |
