You may need a more expensive computer if you are going to use software which have a need for heavy resourse usage. Video editing, Photoshop may need computer extra bells whitsles, cad application software.

If you look at the picture of the puter I built 4 or 5 years ago its nothing fancy. 16 gb RAM 8 gb RAM older video card AMD 3600 6 core. Will do general browsing, video editing, general photo editing , gaming. Not heavy application or resource hungry gaming, guess I have never tried this PC with resource demanding gaming. I Watch movies, have 20 tabs open. General use.

Buying a dell or HP. If breaks may need to buy parts from HP , Dell. Independant computer maker breaks use store bought replacement parts like from Best buy, Newegg.

2 monitors. That brings up more questions. What kind monitors. how big. 1080 or fancy 4k. If going to run fancy monitors or tv sets you may need a better video card. Higher output video cards for the better monitors.

Where ever you buy your computer needless to say, warranty, reliable company. If the computer is to be shipped to you of course packaged correctly etc. I doubt I m tellin yah anything here.

16 gb vs 32bg RAM if your going to run 6 applications, 38 websites, watch a movie, send emails, phot0 editing all the same time and load the resources might think about 32 gb RAM.Might want to think about a better processor also.

Intell vs AMD Used to be Intell was better at gaming, but AMD worked very well with specific multi threaded programs. General use either is fine. I doubt see any difference in speed or ability.

WIFI computer. Yes there are computers now with wifi, but a person can buy a adapter like me which goes in usb port which is wifi and bluetooth. 25 dollars when I bought dont know what they are now.

Make sure when looking at computer have enough USB ports usb c if needed and extras for your peripherals. Can also get a usb dock which plugs into usb port which has more usb ports. I use one.

I would have 2 ssd hardrives. Why 2? 1 for operating system and the other for backups. I use cloning software. Many companies have cloning software. If your main hardrive goes out. you have a emergency back up. With a few simple steps have the computer back running without having to reinstall all the programs windows etc.

I would have at least 2 1tb ssd drives, better have 2 tb hardrives. Pictures from cell phones, whatever can back it up. I use a 3rd usb back up drive because my wifes pictures, documents, records. Once the hardrive breaks all that digital stuff can be very hard to recover.

Hope this is not to much i guess i kinda went overboard good luck.

No I am not a computer expert, but have built my own computers 20 plus years also have had couple 3 or more computer classes when I went back to college number years ago.
