UP / Thumb of Michigan | I've had the flu a few times. Two times it was the sickest I've ever been. Last time, every orifice that was capable of expelling fluids or solids did so. All at once early on. I started getting an annual flu shot after the second episode. I've had flu a couple times since then, but not too bad. 24 hr feel rough type stuff.
I had no choice on the Covid vaccine. Wife is a RN. She doesn't tell me how to farm, I don't give her medical advice. We waited that vaccine out for a while, she wanted to research it. Did that I guess, we went and got the shots.
Like I said, my flu incidence has been mild if I ever do get it. Had Covid once too- same deal, it was mild. I have zero proof that it would have been worse had I not been vaccinated for either. I check a lot of the boxes in both cases that suggest doing all I can do to avoid either one would be a good thing, so thats what I do.
