Subject: Any tips for troubleshooting EZ Steer 250 issues

Manitoba
I always struggle trying to fix issues with our EZ Steer 250 units. (We have 2)
Currently they are in combines and the operators (due to age and inexperience) are able to give me almost no help in diagnosing. There doesnt seem to be anything consistent. They can be perfect for a day or more and then almost unusable. I will get to them and check all connections and restart and sometimes all is good for a day, day and a half and we repeat the process. All new connections, hardwired to battery.
Is there any way to try and narrow down what the problems are? (Diagnostic screen un the menu i have missed?) i think there is a fault record but nothing shows up there. I cant run them myself to see whats going on as i do all the hauling so all i can tell them is shut it down and restart.
Is there a protocol you use to walk yourself through in order to eliminate or identify whats causing the issues? As in determining if its a corrections signal, electrical. Or component problem. With a piece of equipment i can watch it work and identify the problem and repair but with these things i am just guessing blindly. We have swapped components around and it doesnt seem to make much difference. Again, its not like they are always mediocre, usually they are working great until they aren’t.

Any tips would be much appreciated.
