S Illinois | Trading in dollars isn’t what gives the dollar strength. Someone has to actually hold those bonds. And they do it because they know there is or at least was stability in the US financial system. So those bonds are a store of wealth that is not afforded anywhere else. Countries don’t trade in dollars because they have to. They do it because countries trust other non-US countries even less.
And if you want to play the victim with that last line count me out. Don’t worry you’re not being persecuted as a white male whose family may have been here for many generations. But if your a snowflake so be it. | |
