Interstate 35 North ia
not my grandfather but 1 of the guys that was old enough to be that ran the wheat harvest when i went back in the mid 80s . He was an old rancher that had some pretty good stories . the one i still remember is back before cabs he said there were many times they went to town after harvesting for the day to get their eyes flushed out at either a hospital or doctors office . He said if they didn't their eyes would be swelled shut the next morning . He would also roll his own cigarettes , we were roading combines to the next field one day and all of a sudden he was down in the ditch and in a fallow field , stopped to check on him and he was trying to roll a cigarette and lost control.
