Flatfootin - 8/29/2025 07:59 I’m not an expert but wouldn’t the deeper you place tile have the least chance of being crushed? I always assume crushing risk is more so from shallow depth and heavy equipment rather than the weight of the soil in a deeper burial. What do you typically see?

When digging up 100+ year old tile that is very true.
Tile 4+ft deep is a lot better shape then 3ft deep in general. |
