Saronville NE | After this yr of hay. Im almost ready to quit. Ruined more hay tgis yr then my 36 yr career together. Humidity like nothing ever seen and more rain then usually get. Never a window to do right.
With price of hay equipment and repairs. Except for couple real dry yrs, growing our own isnt lot cheaper then buying. At least you can pass on the rained on hay. Whereas i have 250 bales of crap off of kne cutting of alfalfa that hot 2 inches rain and high humeity finally had to bale before couldn't find windrows in regrowth. | |
