Chebanse, IL..... | We've had CleanFix reversing fans. First one was on a JD 4038 sprayer with a Simon lift kit. Worked great. We programmed it to auto-reverse every 20 minutes. Or, you could reverse it with an in-cab switch or with blue-tooth phone at any time. I never thought noise was a problem. Yes you can hear it, but that was a good feeling. You knew it was working.
Then we installed a CleanFix in a JD 6130R we use for mowing, etc. Before the CleanFix install, we had trouble with overheating when mowing tall grass. JD has those removable radiator screens that slide in & out. It seems that no matter how often you stopped and cleaned them, soon you'd get an "overheat" message that would soon lead to shutdown. Installed the CleanFix last year and have never had the 6130R go beyond the normal reading on water temp. CleanFix solved the problem 100%. Also have in-cab switch for reversing on demand, but we haven't found it necessary to remove. I think that one is set on 15 minutes reverse schedule.
It's very easy to set/change the reversing schedule. Or, again, you can activate the manual rocker switch in the cab or use your phone CleanFix app to reverse it.
Then we bought a late-model Hagie with the CleanFix fan. Works great there too. No problems.
Installation was fairly easy on the 6130. Probably took a couple hours to install. If we needed another reversing fan I'd buy another CleanFix. |
