41 would be long enough to be 80k from 1 to 5, but the steers would probably be light, so you would not get the full 80k. If you move the fifth wheel up, you'd could get 12k on the steers, but would probably be short on the 1 to 5 and only be legal for 79K. That is not all bad, as you have 1000 lbs to play with. If you are 79k with fuel tanks full and 12k on steers, with fuel tanks low, you may have 11,250 on steers, but bushels in the trailer putting more on the tandems.
