| where are you located? I just bought 2 diesel 20kw onan/cummins 4 cylinder generators on an auction (600 hours on the tach) and I will likely have 1 for sale as I don't need them both. Inverters are nice but I'm not a big fan of gas generators if you can spare the weight of a diesel on your trailer -1000-1500lb vs >500lb. The diesel runs at 1800 rpms and is 4 pole vs gasers 2 pole/3600rpm.
I ran a cheap 15/12000kw Champion this summer and it worked fine but after 100 hours it threw a piston rod.
