I have no specific knowledge about your tractor, but I see lots of blowers installed wrong or rotating the wrong direction.
The blower wheel should be installed so it would “chop” the fingers you stick in the outlet of the blower housing. Think of a salad machine or silage chopper.
The it has to be rotating the correct direction to throw air out the discharge. If it’s turning backwards it’ll still push air out but it won’t be pitching it forward out the opening.
Important question, is it always that way or does it start out better and quickly diminish? That is a sign of an evaporator that’s too cold and frosting. Usually need to increase the charge slightly.
No, it's never great. Always cold, just mediocre flow for the amount of glass exposed to the sun.
I guess I've never checked blower direction but it's always been this way and got a new genuine Deere blower motor at some point. Nothing changed. |
