You can get a rodent tape on Amazon, used to be made by Honda motor company, I've used it on irrigation motors and it works. after few years it gets brittle and needs replaced. $44 for a roll just like a roll of black tape, but worth it. Supposed to have pepper embedded in it. I have also used tin foil tape used for duct work. Wrap wires with black tape, tin foil tape, then with black tape. Get the mice out of the combine or bigger issues await you.
