SW MO | We have ran Gleaner heads for ever and always liked them. When I went to upgrade the last 6 row Gleaner I looked into Drago head, Gleaner had quit making 6 row heads. First dealer I called wouldn’t give me the time of day. Called another dealership 250 miles away and they bent over backwards to help me. Ended up with a GT series and have been very happy. From picking good corn to poor drought corn it has just done well across a wide range of conditions. I compare it to our older Hesston disc mower conditioners; you go to the field and they just work. I keep mine clean, serviced and in the barn. I run it on a S68 Gleaner and had it on a R52 before that. I won’t say it’s a magic head that does everything every time perfect but it does an excellent job. | |
