Navigator was planning “ sequestration “ in the oil basin of Illinois. Not one of your “ big” producers but still producing none the less with potential greater production if horizontal drilling and fracking implemented. Sites were planned in Christian and Montgomery counties. Navigator finally gave up when they hit major unexpected resistance from landowners.
Also, I know quite a few people who don’t have a beef with ethanol. 
I for one, am a corn farmer who drives a gasser that sees no need to spend an extra10-12 grand on a truck to say I have a diesel, have to keep it running while I run in to buy more DEF and a couple bottles of anti-gel or 911 “just in case”. Don’t get me wrong, diesels are “cool” . They sound cooler when chipped and ya can’t “black out” the guy behind ya if you had a gasser!
