probably since the beginning of time
First time I remember hearing it was in High school 1970's
No matter the rhetoric solar panels can be removed --ground a little less productive???
lawns can be planted to some crop
we can eat grains instead of feeding it to animals and then eating the meat
IMO mass starvation causation will be a black swan event, meteor striking, atomic war, war in general, disease (people or crops) transportation disruption
