Less cows, less pasture less hay.
Fence lines and waterways cleaned out.
I can drive to a former creek pasture. Fences cleaned out, trees pushed in and burned, planted to corn this spring.
Even some coming out of CRP.
Yield? In NE iowa the avg yield on mid 60’s to low 70’s CSR field averages is likely to be in the 220-260 range.
If we do add acres, yield can drop and we still have a huge crop.
BUT WHERE? the WHERE makes a difference..... |
