That was part of my question. Is the AG economy good in other countries to support record high stock prices? I have no idea.
European farmers are incredibly heavily subsidized and protected. It makes our government programs and protection look absolutely pathetic in comparison.
In the rest of the world, equipment is like our 90s equipment: simple and cheap to make, cheap to buy, and their farm economy is not as consolidated either, so there so lots of small sales instead of a few big sales. |
