nc ks | The 8320r with a powershift very reliable. It is basically a 30 series with an R cab. Tuned to 400 hp. The two 8360r's have IVT's and while that gives me pause, they can be purchased very cheaply as an older IVT gives almost everyone pause. We had an ecu go bad on one so that was a couple grand. One of them the ivt is starting to give fits once in awhile when going back and forth from under 8mph to over 8mph if you are not smooth with the stick. When we get them we usually put the updated non greaseable fan drive on and that pretty much takes care of that trouble. The ils and everything takes maintenance to keep up. The 8360r's take a new breather filter once every several thousand hours and that is more expensive than it should be. Rear main seal likely to start seeping at some point. Not a real fan of the 9L(compared to the 8.1), but what are you going to do? I know people have had to replace the egr tube. Can't really think of anything else. Tuned them up to 400 hp. At some point when the ivt fails, you have to decide if they are a disposable tractor and just buy another or if you want to spend the $$ to put in another IVT. Cost is about the same. An 8335r with a powershift should be a pretty reliable tractor, they just bring a lot more money.
