Be better to invest in the new plant then to raise the beans! I missed my shot with our local eplant years ago. I’d feel a lot better selling them cheap corn if I got massive dividends from their profits back. What’s the saying you snooze you lose. I was snoozing.


Snoozing doesn’t mean losing a lot of the times, especially when farmers build processing facilities…..New farmer owned ethanol plant opened here 2008 bankruptcy in 2009,it is now green plains…Spring wheat processors in the 1990s bankruptcy, 1996 farmer built Pro gold high fructose corn plant almost made one year year before financial difficulties cargill stepped in 1997 and leased the facility for 10 years, renewed the lease, and is now buying out the shareholders in 2027.
