I’ve wondered the same thing about tractors. My dad bought the old 3010 new in 1964. It still has all the screens, side panels, lift arms, etc it had when it was new. I see tractors a lot newer with all the screens missing, side panels gone, and if it has a cab, windows broken, door torn off, etc. I realize that tractors occasionally need to be worked on, but if you remove a part, put it back on when you’re done. It’s not rocket science.
