We may have “similar” moisture in the few months of the summer, but I can tell you that having submoisture is rather important to finish out a crop. We likely have more extreme ends of wet and dry than out east, so at least out there you pattern tile and tile up hills. What I have found, when I get eastern moisture, I have my best yields. And then when I get 4”, pretty bad. Then I hear folks out east bitch about 25” and then they wonder where the yield came from. Gee, I wonder.
