EC SoDak | Last year, as this year, will be more about demand if they drop yields. Prices spiked, many didn’t sell, and then the trade doesn’t care about old crop, they focus on new, which is why prices stayed depressed. Now, with fert prices, it may be the opposite of last year where bean acres explode trying to say money and corn acres tank so you can maybe run. Either way, folks would likely be wise to take advantage of any pricing opportunities vs hope. For the bean side, we need China to enter the market. | |
