West Central MN (between MMF and Larson's)
I was from WCMN to Indiana and back this past week.

We’re one of the armpits, the other is about an hour SE of here.

South of Olivia, MN is pretty good but some just got 7+” in the past week
SC MN and NC IA (Blue Earth MN- Buffalo Center IA area towards Clear Lake IA had some uneven color and height with occasional drowned out/wet spots- still not bad but certainly not perfect.

Mason city to Debuque was about as nice and any one could dream

Northern IL to Northern Indiana was spotty. Some dry pockets were starting to show but no failures yet.

This was all windshield scouting.

Overall all a solid crop with the only problem areas being close to home. That said there were enough signs of stress that my take was the biggest numbers were likely printed and the crop would shrink some going forward unless everyone gets perfect weather to finish out .

Good crop no doubt but maybe not as good as USDA numbers unless weather is perfect to finish

My 2 cents.
