| It’s hard for me to believe inflation is dead for very long unless we show more fiscal discipline as a country. We keep printing new money. There will be cycles where it goes down, especially in certain industries, farming, housing, etc. , but it is going to be hard to reign in unless we slow the supply of money and credit. We live in a different world than 1970. I don’t think there is a Paul Volcker on the horizon, or the political will to turn him lose. | |
