I said earlier this summer that I thought we have a strong chance at $11 and possibly hit $12. I've been wrong so far, but I'm not giving up yet. This bean crop is at risk of losing bushels it can't afford to lose.
I'd say at this point they are starting to lose bushels every day.
This is the longest most of these beans have ever went without a rain and it's the worst time to be a thirsty bean.
Beans starting to have a whitish grey look to them in the heat of the day. Top end is going out the door. |
