Grandma Jane- I got a chuckle out of your post. Reminded me of a scenario I met more than once BITD. Grandparents at the dealership to buy a toy for their Little Dear and stand bewildered by the array. Offering to help, I'd ask the age- usually very young. They would indicate the toy they were thinking of (something huge) and I would point out the age recommendation on the packaging, mentioning small parts, pinch points, etc. "Oh, but he's real smart!"
