EC SoDak | I would guess that the last few years have given folks with late planting, issues, etc a bigger sack on planting bigger day crops later than usual. As one can imagine, per usual, eventually it catches up to you. Once I lost my dryer, I backed off corn maturities 5-10 days because I don’t want to deal with wet and poor TW corn and heading to coops instead of my bin site, and I know 95-101 day corn can yield with or near 103-106ish corn here.
Just something to keep in mind depending on folks various planting and growing conditions in the northwestern belt. | |
