| This may have become a monster post. If I contributed I apologize
My point/question really could be summed up as
When you go on the build and buy GM site with the dealer and you are handed the build sheet (I think it is stored in the website also) and you give a deposit which references it is for a 25 model year truck. Is the obligation to deliver the truck as the build sheet references? I ASSUMED IT WAS LOCKED IN. THIS TRUCK FOR THIS MONEY
When I buy seed, equipment etc if it is less than we agreed a conversation is had as to reaching a middle ground
No such conversation is being offered in this case. It is take it at this 26 price or forfeit the deposit
Yes I am getting a 26 if I go thru with the deal. Would most likely have to pay that and lose my deposit if I went else where. Increased price is inflation or whatever. I am forced to pay more than I thought.
I was looking for experiences here and hopefully help someone not have this happen to them
For example what if it was my dream old man splurge sports car. Say I wanted a 25 vette and when it came in it was a 26. Do I have to take it at the. 26 price or forfeit my deposit??? What if I wanted a 25 only !!!!!
