EC SoDak | We have cool weather for the next week or so, so frost can wait until October. I’m guessing beans will be mature around the last week of September and that should coincide with corn blacklayering. Will need heat after to dry it down. I think I’m around 100 heat units ahead of the 10 year average from corn planting start date. Silage I’d assume will start around the 6-8th of September. That should give a feel for how corn is going to do. | |
