EC SoDak | In 16 my ground (all ground is dryland) averaged 75ish dry, best was 83 on a quarter and that was riddled with white mold and lodging starting earlyish August that I don’t believe even had fungicide (if it did, it was a generic Quilt). Off the top of my head, that was 3500-4000 total acres of beans. This year, I’ve avoided white mold so far, likely due to a double fungicide application and a few other factors via closer management.
So, yes, I do believe it is attainable this year.
Edit to add: I’ve ran irrigation before, it’s never beat the bulk of my dryland. I assume it has to do with soil type, tile, climate, rain, etc. However, while PFT likes to claim the area they sample is the best SoDak has to offer, generally, Hamlin, Brookings, Moody, and Minnehaha are the top yielders.
