mn
kind of opposite of your version.
here is how a large portion of central mn went for the growing season.
figure a large triangle south of i94 towards the twin cities not quite to nd and a line from say brookings sd across on hwy 14 and north to cities.
dry spring. to the point of bad germination and uneven emergeance. if you had pivots some were ran to get the crop growing.
dry most of june until it wasnt anymore.
since it has been one of the wettest july-aug on record. fact.
numerous 6-10 inch rains scattered around the area. large drown out dead spots from rivers and low spots.
areas around that had large hail events.
things look good where they are good. not record good, no way. BUT there is a large area of 0 in the state of mn.
