WCMO-SWMO Area
Too wet and too cool from April 1st thru June 30th..25 to 35 inches of rain was common which hurt the corn...It also delayed haying and bean planting...Wheat harvest was muddy and probably half of the double crop beans didnt get planted...A neighbor replanted some corn way late and it looks great...Yields on the early corn will be all over the place..It depends on how much drowned out and how much N was lost...Its way too early to tell any bean yields..The beans were poor here in 2022-23-24..The corn was terrible in 2022 and 2023.

From July 1st thru today the rains have been very spotty which is pretty normal around here..Some places have had as little as 1-2 inches while a few lucky ones have had as much as 5-10 inches..I'm one of the lucky ones with a little over 7 inches..The Jasper to Joplin,MO area is very dry and corn harvest has started...Been lots of 95 plus degree days since July 1st but never have hit 100.
