My Mom would buy nothing but pure cane sugar as she felt that beet sugar didn’t melt as well. We were lucky enough to go on a sugar cane plantation tour in Clewiston FL. a few years back. The gentleman that was our tour guide, and had retired from this company, during the course of the day told us that sugar is sugar no matter what it was derived from!
