NW MN | Prices are down hard like other commodities. Sugar price is less and our by products that follow corn and soy price is down like all commodities.
For American Crystal the crop is looking slightly less then last year but with sugar % (crop quality) in the crop being the biggest outstanding question.
It’s my impression that SMBSC has had a lot of excess rain in the greater Highway 212 corridor and MN river valley roughly impacting crop. Minn-Dak may also have some excess water issues but I’m less certain on that information. | |
