Very cool. Here a stone that age and size would have been set on a brick foundation and leaning badly by now. I've got about ten forms built to make new solid bases for stones about that vintage in a small cemetery we try to help maintain. Someone did an excellent job when they set your Great Great Grandfather's monument. Edit to add , of course you don't have to deal with the ground freezing, thawing , and heaving there.
