Subject: Never know what can happen

Last Friday inqas headed to town and never made it there. Sand truck turned in front of me and swerved to avoid it but didn't. Truck ended up tbone me and flipped me, rolled me and pitched me out of the pickup. I ended up underneath the picture up from my waste up. Spent at least 20 minutes waiting for ems together there to get me freed up. Everyone worked on me was great. Gotta appreciate the first responders cause you never know what your coming up on. We have life 360 on our phones and it alerted my wife and kids that I had been in some sort of accident. My wife tried calling me 3 times then decided to just heade to where the 360 app said I was. She got therebefore ems did. I was responding totally questions. I couldn't move my left are as it was tight. My right arm was free and I was able to move it around along with my legs. Ems finally got there and got the pickup lifted off of me enough to get me pulled out from under there. Got me on the backboard and loaded in ambulance. Everything was stable on my vitals so we headed for the hospital. Was called in as a trauma 2 crush victim. Got to local hospital and I had multiple nurses and 2 Dr's approach me and started to take over. I was coherent the whole ride just couldn't open my eyes cause I glass in my eyes.
Dr's did a whole work up on me ct scan and everything. Exrayed left shoulder cause that is what was hurting the most. I ended up with Crack sternum and a couple cracked ribs. Narly cut on underneath side of my left arm elbow and multiple cuts and scraps. Bruises alot of places
I am very fortunate that I walked out of the error that afternoon. God was with me for sure. And my oldest son. God isn't done with me for sure. Yes I wasn't wearing my seat belt. But lessened learnt.
