Seems some copper helps. And saltro seed treatment. Variety also helps. Done underestimate the damage it can do.


Copper would help, but copper will kill the good fungus in your soil too. Fungicides also will kill your good fungus as well. The over use of these products is what is killing the plants natural defense. Many years of fungicide and multiple applications per year is taking out our soil biology. It will get so bad that eventually fungicides won't be able to take care of the diseases. Some of us are already at that point. I myself am in the same boat in my fields. Especially with the white mold. I can't stop it even with 3 passes of fungicide and that was 3 seasons ago already. Im workingbon building my soil biology by adding back in the microbes I have depleted. We are making progress, but like it took multiple years to destroy the soil, it will take multiple years to build back. With today's products and technology, you don't have to do it with cover crops. Cover crops can help speed it up, but a lot of us can't feasibly use cover crops. Cover crops is all about timing
