St-Eugene, Ontario | Funny story, about 40 years back there was a guy from Germany with no farming background who was looking to buy an ongoing farm in the area. My dad chatted with the guy a few times and eventually he was proud to tell my dad he bought a dairy farm. My dad asked how’s the land, any stones to pick? To which he replied beautiful land with stone fences around all the fields so all the stones have already been picked! | |
