I think a kwik kleen will cause more damage to the peanuts. The idea to the kwik kleen is centifical force, you run it fast and theres little paddles on the augers that kick the grain against the screens. Their not a cheap machine either. I think a something like a clipper fanning mill would be more gentle if you don't like the rotary screen machines.
