Im in agreement with you easy money.. there are better genetics to look for, keep ph corrected best as possible and alot ofother things to help lower the risk but does not stop the risk. He works for a coop, reactive makes them more money than being proactive.. BUT a being proactive KEEPS your customers respecting you..

Edit- I'm not pointing finger at 1 person or 1 coop- it's many coops look for the $$ not what's best for the farm or the farmer


I have never been a spray first agronomist and you know that. I've been an agronomist for 46 years in Iowa and only wanted to make a difference for people. I love agronomy or would have retired years ago. I was out in fields today that are part of our new SkyScout program.. Southern Rust is heavy and there are fields that are going to be disappointments because the disease is shutting down plants.
