I've got a Chinese 680 ft/lb driver, 6" is the largest post that will fit in my cup. Drives it fine, especially in soft ground. Hard gravel with rocks it will drive them, just takes a little longer. Have to have good quality posts for hard driving or it'll turn them into splinters
