South Central Illinois | Keep hearing more and more about this red crown rot.
It originated in the Carolinas or maybe in Georgia in 1968 in peanut Fields.
Apparently, it was first found in soybean fields in 1972.
Presumably, the same fields that had been in peanuts 4 years earlier?
Is there anything to slow it down once it arrives in a field?
Just give up on growing soybeans?
