Ky | 109 day corn planted 1st week of may had great moisture all the way through pollination then it shut off. Brown silk by July 25 sprayed fungicide with drone on the 27th. Only had .2 of an inch since then. Corn starting denting about 2 weeks ago and now the ears are dropping prob 50% have turned down. Highs mid 90s and next week 97. Normally have combined mid October but sure looks like it will be sooner this year. Without any rain in the forecast and the hot August temps am I looking at it finishing quick ? Im guessing the test weight is going fo be light without moisture Any opinions would be appreciated | |
