NE IL | Pretty tough in my little corner of NE Il. Basically no rain more than a few tenths in all of July and August to this point. Beans on sand hills are dying and corn is firing. It’s not a huge area but my corn will be average and if it doesn’t rain in next week or so beans will be below average. Friend 10 miles north said he still has water standing. Been one of the years where you get all the rain or none of it. | |
