Subject: RE: Conventional soybean herbicides for pre and post applications

south east MN
Here is a list of Chemicals I use on my non-gmo beans at varies times if I am trying to mix it up. The first 3 pre's combined works well at lower rates.
pre's
Authority (group 14), 12 month rotation to oats
metribuzin (group 5) (caution if you grow wheat),
Prowl H20 (Pendimethalin, group 3) (no-till)/ trifluralin (must be incorporated) best on grasses some broadleaf control
Outlook, Dual/Warrent, Zidua (Group 15) all can be sprayed post but won't control emerged weeds
Sharpen (group 14) can be used at a low 1 oz. rate but probably better to keep this tool for corn and not overuse in all crops.

post grasses (group 1's)
Se-cure (quizalofop)
Fusilade (Fluazifop)
Clethodim

post broadleafs group 14's
Flexstar (fomesafen) 10 month to corn
Ultra Blazer (Acifluorfen)
Cobra (Lactofen) will burn soy leaves badly depending on adjuvent, 45 Day post harvest interval is nice if getting late

post broadleaf group 2's
Firstrate (Cloransulam-methyl) can also be used pre but is nice to have as a post option, 9 month rotation to corn
Classic (Clorimuron-ethyl) 9 month to corn
Pursuit (Imazethapyr) might as well go fishing for a week after spraying cause you will swear you killed your beans.

Basagran (bentazon group 6) works decent on thistles, ok on other broadleafs, with oil will burn leaves if drought stressed

additional burn down option is Reviton (group 14) newer burn down, not much activity on thistles or dandelion but works pretty good for most others.
