Subject: RE: Ad blocking

Cleveland, MS. Own small farm near Booneville, MS
I use Mozilla Firefox and DuckDuckGo with all the safety features turned on. On a regular basis I get a notice on many sites asking me to turn off my ad blocker. It’s usually on some kind of news or information site that I clicked on a link to get to. There’s usually some small print that I can click on that says “continue without supporting us.” That’s what I do. If I can’t do that I just go elsewhere. I look at it the same way as I do television. I’m already paying to be on the internet/watch television. Why do I have to watch ads that are trying to get me to spend more money? Yes, almost anything I watch on television has ads and I put up with it but I don’t have to like it.
