I got 2 -30ac pastures with fence line bunks that i can feed year around if I got them over stocked at the home place which makes it handy, wondering if I had a hoop barn for them to use for shade and shelter at there choice not confined would make it a big enough benefit for the cost and up keep of the building. Also 40 pairs on 30 ac about destroys the pasture but need to run enough hd to justify the building. Any thoughts?
The last thing I want is all my cows and calves clumped together in a **** hole in the middle of summer.
