I have 64-22 a couple miles from this field in much poorer ground that has way better looking ears. FS has a plot on this 60 acre field where those ears that I posted came from. It will be interesting to see if it’s a certain number or if this field just didn't get rain as much as the other fields. The final stand in this 60 acre field where I checked in 3 places was 33500. I did plant it at 35,000 though.

I agree that 66-06 seems a bit hit and miss, but I wouldn't give up on it just yet. Seems like it has longer cobs than most, some dry tip might not be the end of the world.
